Russia, Moscow Travel With Ho-oh

A personal travel illustration inspired by Moscow, combining a playful character driven scene with the iconic Moscow skyline. The illustration features a backpacker exploring the city with a group of familiar Pokemon characters, bringing together travel, adventure and childhood nostalgia.

The project showcases my illustration process, starting with a flat color sketch and developing it into the final artwork. I focused on creating a colorful, energetic composition while keeping the characters and Moscow skyline visually connected.

From the initial sketch to the finished illustration, this piece explores travel illustration, character design, visual storytelling and digital illustration through a personal interpretation of Moscow.
